This is tips on How to make a landscape or city scene into a planet
Step 1: Open your image into photoshop and unlock the layer.
Step 2: Crop your image if there is a lot of sky or ground above the picture.
Step 3: Change the image size to width and height the same. Try to keep it as close as possible to what the original image size is.
Step 4: Edit / Transform / 180 degrees clockwise
Step 5: Filter / Distort / Polar coordinates
Step 6: Using the clone stamp tool gradually blend the lines together to make it look even.
