Same-sex couples in North Carolina prepare for marriage vote

I am doing my my Editorial imagery project on this article from CNN. This article is about a documentary photo project called Commitment NC. This project takes photos of same-sex couples and their families. The motive behind this project is Amendment 1, a state amendment that proposes defining marriage as between "one man & one woman." The photos are shedding light on the families that will be torn apart and destroyed by the passing of this amendment. These photos taken through the project send such a strong message. I want to incorporate some of them into my project.
