I want to do my image on the hazing death of Robert Champion in 2011. The 26 year old drum major of FAMU, collapsed during a halftime game, after being hazed on a charter bus. The parents have finally sued the bus driver for not doing anything in the incident. The driver even had Champion go back onto the bus after throwing up. Drivers were told to ignore the hazing as it was normal for students from the band to do so. Even the band director admits knowing that students were hazing and did little to prevent it. The hazing consisted of having students run back and forth on the bus being beaten and having their faces covered with a pillow and only allowing them to breath when answering a question right. Robert Champion was not suppose to be on the bus and was targeted even worse then the pledges on "bus c". The bus driver is being blamed for not doing anything in helping Champion when he came off the bus as she stood guard at the doors. She kept the bus running and air conditioned as the hazing took place not preventing the band members.

 I plan on having a collage of the funeral outside the bus and having students inside hazing pledges. i also want to show the bus driver outside guarding as she does nothing to help Robert Champion. I will use the original image of the FAMU bus c and have my smart object be the "shadowed" hazers on the bus.
