This WPA Poster was done by Frank S. Nicholson. I'm not sure that it shows any particular National Park (the only information I could find on it said it was a picture of two cowboys standing in front of a huge rock formation. I picked this poster because I liked the not only the composition of the rock formation and the interesting shapes it makes, but also for the juxtaposition of the two cowboys in front with the formation in the back. It really captures the immensity of the formation. There is also a nice use of shadow and negative space that I enjoy as well.
