Katie--Rocky Mountain National Park

I find that the "typical" landscape portrait usually involves mountains, possibly because of our natural curiosity (and "manifest destiny-mindset"). I wanted to include some sort of animal in the composition, so some of my reference photos have elk or big horn ram in them.
I'm also favoring the landscape orientation.
