Rory - WPA example

I have relatives out in Yosemite that i've lost contact with after graduating high school and i know that to me the subject stood out the most. I'm wanting to capture the enormous tree's and the mountains in the background.  Somewhere in my poster i will include the silhouette of a mother figure and a young girl to represent both my mother and little sister, just as a personal thing for me although it is significant of family outings and maybe even "mother" earth. Im hoping to use cool colors with a soft tone.
