A day in the life of an artist.
A day in the life of an artist, I want to use images of the tools an artist would use and figure drawing. As design students we are always creating new things each week, I want to use photos of the things I would use in creating art and where I create it. I will be using three photos: one a still-life of different art tools, pencils, paint brush, markers, tubes of paint, spray can and a pallet knife. The second is of a metal sculpture. The third is a background either of a living room set up or a work studio wall. I want to show a personal illustration of my art and where i create it. I have studied art for over fourteen years and i felt that the only way to become a more well rounded artist was to study design. So i chose to illustrate the process and tools used in my work. The life of an artist is an endless process of thinking and creating, I was once told that drawing is 90% visual focus and 10% actual drawing. Artist are masters of illusion and have the power to inspire. It took me a while to come up with a topic so i chose this topic because I never have done an illustration based on my personal experience and i wanted to share this with others. With the photos I want to make a shadowbox on the walls and a figure drawing to represent me.
