Since I am a photographer, I
figured I would present “A Day in the Life of a Photographer”. I have always
had a strong passion for photography. I rarely ever leave home without my
camera. I photograph children, families,
and high school seniors. My apartment is
full of props, camera bags, editing software, and numerous cameras. I have an entire shelf set up of old vintage
and antique cameras that I have collected. One is over 75 years old that
belonged to my great grandma. I plan to incorporate those somehow into this
project. I was introduced early to
photography when my dad built a dark room in our garage apartment where he used
to create his own prints from film and ever since then I have been fascinated. Anyone can take a picture. And many people tend to overlook the life of
a photographer and assume that it is just the camera that makes a great photo,
when really, it is much more than that. Not only does it take good equipment or
a good camera, but it also takes a creative mind and a lot time to create great
work.
I’m currently unsure of how I am going to lay
everything out for this project but plan to include one of my old vintage
cameras or the one I use now, a camera bag, a laptop, and maybe a stack of
albums where I keep all of my prints.
For my original photo, I think I may take a picture of where I keep all
of my cameras and equipment then incorporate the drawings around it somehow.
