I plan to do "A Day In the Life of a Dancer" Before I graduated, I danced a lot in high school and it was pretty much my life. I was a Sr. Lieutenant for my dance team, I was on pom squad, the elite team, I was on the Senior Company for a dance studio, and I was President of a Christian dance group. Being able to experience days in the life of a dancer I thought it would be appropriate to choose this. My idea is to choose either an empty stage or studio background and incorporate a dancer or dancers into the picture. I'm not sure how many at this point. When I think of dance I think of how much time and work I put into what I loved doing everyday, so that being said, I'd like to put some key elements in the background as whether such as: a water bottle, make-up bag, bobby pins, hairspray, toe paws, athletic tape, things of that nature that a dancer would carry with him/her everyday to practice. I plan on using an image of myself for the original photo, however I would like to use one that will not emphasis my face as much, so maybe use a pose that hides the face or just makes it a little less obvious to tell who it is. I may end up drawing some of the small items or if I use the "empty stage" idea I may draw something like the lights. Since this is "A day in the life of..." I might use a picture that is in the perspective of the performer - the view you would see if you were looking out from the stage into the audience.
