How exercise may offset some of alcohol's damage
I have chosen an article about how regular exercise may counteract some of the brain-damaging effects of alcohol. In the study, heavy drinking was linked with damage to the brain's white matter, but only among those who didn't exercise very much. For those who exercise regularly, there was no link between heavy drinking and white-matter damage. My idea for the illustration is using an image of the human body with arms spread open creating a scale shape, adding in the scale trays within them having exercise things on one side and alcohol on the other side. Since I did tons of destructive moves on the previous project, I intend on using more masks and incorporating the smart object tool. Maybe behind the scale figure in the foreground having a bright center gradient showing the positive effects of balancing the two.
