As far as my image I will produce, I have been throwing around a few different ideas. I thought about doing an old movie style poster looking image (Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Giant Animal destroying city etc) showing ominous giant snails destroying homes and plants. Also, I've thought about doing just a basic image of a snail leaving slime trails on roads and blowing out car tires, or slime trails on the side of a partially eaten house surrounded by plants that have been eaten.

I will be covering the story titled "A Slick Mess: Giant Snails Invade South Florida". Apparently southern Florida has recently been dealing with an infestation of Giant African Snails. These snails can grow to the size of rats, and they devour not only many important plants found in the area, but also can eat stucco houses, and can be a hazard on the roads because they can blow out car tires with their shells. More than 1,000 snails are being caught a week, especially since their emergence during spring's wet season. These snails are indigenous not only to parts of Africa, but also to many islands in the Caribbean, and originally came over accidentally on freight ships and luggage.
