Insects play an important role in the environment. They pollinate flowers, create valuable substances, and provide for other animals. But when in contact with humans, they are often repelled or exterminated. Our immediate reaction to the sight of an ant or spider is to squash it with our shoe or spray its life away. I thought it would be interesting to focus on the insect point of view for a change. What do they see? How does "our world" look from down there? I'm planning to take a few shots looking upward from an area below or straightforward on ground level. I think this perspective would be really interesting and capture the everyday life of an insect.
