Wichita Falls is near the northeast corner of the panhandle of North Texas close to the boarder with Oklahoma. It is a family oriented city with a population of a little more than 100 thousand people. There are many cultural activities like rodeos. It is also a very nature, environmental friendly city with streams and trails. There are 39 parks within the city. The parks are where most families share time together on nature walks and picnics.
This blog is a warehouse for design inspiration. The authors of this blog are all current students enrolled in Assistant Prof. Newton's ARTC1302 Communication Design class at Texas State University San Marcos.

Stanek, Postcard Thumbs & Info
Gruene is considered a historic town. It was established first by German farmers. It is named after the German Immigrant Ernst Gruene. Many of the building and stores have remained the same due to repairs and upkeep by the owners. It is recognized by the Texas travel industry and is a big attraction for visitors. There are many small “old town” stores people shop from and the famous riverside restaurant The Gristmill.
