I decided to do a day in the life of a ballerina. There are many things associated with ballerinas that are easily recognizable. Tutus, ballet flats, leotards, etc. I thought of going to the nearby dance studio and seeing if they wouldn’t mind letting me go in when they were in class or after class and taking pictures of the mirrors and maybe using a friend as a prop. I have 8 sketches involving the ballerina and the objects that surround her life. I might choose to have a tutu, leotard, and shoes thrown together and give it a soft glow. I also might change this and do an inanimate object I thought that might be more interesting.
