Wimberley_P1 Roughs
First draft of roughs -
Basically same as the thumbs with a few exceptions in regard to the advice of the professor. I made the shapes in the background of the giraffe more organic, nixed the circles at the joints, tails, etc. The composition and scale of the shapes in both the giraffe and cheetah need some work. Drawings are pretty rough too. Not sure about the legs in the background being black. Looks awkward on the cheetah especially. Drawings need some work too.
Second Draft -

Second Draft -
Reworked the drawings. Huge improvement. Composition on giraffe spots is good. Cheetah spots needs some work. Reintroduced the circles at joints for the sake of comparison. I prefer them with. Just realized all are facing left but cheetah. Will have to rework that. The scale of the cheetah looks off. I can't make it bigger because it is so long. Reduce the size of the others?
Experimental Draft -
Different approach with the inversion. Not a bad concept but I prefer the others. Filling in the background elements was a mistake.
